Is French a difficult language to master ?

I was wondering what non native speakers thought about French language in general. Is French a hard language to master ? If you think so, what are its most difficult features ?

Nice to meet you. It's a very curious topic for French learner.

For me now, it is "liaison". Even though the word is very simple, it sounds quite differently with liaison and difficult to hear.

I know others are more difficult, but French isn't easy by any means. Verb conjugation is the worst part.
