I have a Sony Vaio E Series. I found it on sale for $600 at the store. When I went looking for a laptop I knew what the best brands were. There was a survey done by the people who do the warranties for the laptops. They used their data to find out which laptop brands were being sent back due to malfunctions. They said the number one reason that laptops die is from hardware malfunctions. Too much heat destroys the hardware after awihle. They made the list I am writing from of what they think the most reliable laptops are. First place is Asus, Toshiba is next, Sony, Apple (Mac), Dell, Lenovo, Acer, Gateway then HP in last place. Knowing that I narrowed my search results to Asus, Toshiba and Sony. I hope this helps.

Mine is G450,medium,not as good as your's,but fit for me. By the way, how much is your computer ? Mine is 4050 yuan,about $600 in 2009.

I used - Lenovo Y550. Very good laptop - Linux work :) :)
