That’s one reason why you should publish your discussions in the Chinese forum — you’ll reach your target audience more easily. The English forum is full of language partner requests (which are generally seen as garbage by serious students). Secondly, you would do well to publish a real discussion — not a language partner request. Post something interesting, in English and Chinese, and you will actually have a good chance of meeting someone interested in Chinese language and / or culture. (If you only post in English, it gives the impression that you may not be willing and / or able to help people learn Chinese.) I mean, you wouldn’t just go outside and yell, “Hey everyone! Who wants to be my friend?” Or would you...?
