I guess you've just got a bad learning experience with a teacher from Italki. But please, don't use these words "most of" when you're not sure what you're talking about.

I am NOT a paid italki teacher and I really am at a loss to underatand what you mean. People here get a LOT of help for free. If you sign up with an  official italki teacher, then you both should agree what he/she will help you with.

In my opinion we should not generalise. What does it mean "most of the italki teachers"? Teachers are the regular people like me and you. They just have a knowledge. That is all. Their personality can be different. but it is not the proof that they rarely help us answer our questions or corrected our notebooks. I saw a lot of corrected notebooks entries and other examples against your opinion.
