In my opinion it's normal to have sexual relation before marriage. Our society is on such degree of development when religion has not so much power to control every aspect of our private life, and the ancient traditions became too weak to influence to our behavior.

Write = to express ideas in writing

Right = adherence or obedience to moral and legal principles and authority

They sound alike in English, so it's a common mistake even by natives :]

Second, philosophical right vs wrong is relative to who's moral standards you conform to. Like Nacir said, most religions say sex before marriage is wrong.

But in the EE.UU, which has a Christian majority, in 2013 you would be hard pressed to find a virgin past the age of 20. It's one of things in the 1960/70s that was questioned; in our culture this time period is known as the "sexual revolution."

The cultural norm today ask, why is sex before marriage wrong if it's done by two consenting adults? Sure it carriers great responsiblity like a sexually transmitted disease or if a child is born, but with easy access to condoms and other birth control is the rule still necessary?

Now we still have cultural norms like if someone sleeps with a person on the first night they are not seen as a "desirable" mate for marriage. But if you're in a committed relationship, marriage is not a requirement for sex. And in that situation we don't even call it sex, we call it "making love" because it's about expressing your love for your partner.

So without justifying it through religion, why is sex before marriage wrong my friend?

What do you think about the cultural bubble we individually live in?  Somehow, I get the feeling you are trying to convey and absolute standard of behavior.  Why is an absolute ethical standard acceptable?  To me, this is one of the reasons why learning another language and going to another country is an eye-opening experience.

Do you think lending for interest is wrong?  Why?  For reasons you have thought out carefully or because you accept the religious/cultural standards of your locale?  To me, dogmatic thought, like religion can easily be inherently dangerous and divisive.

Maybe the question to be asked is why this ethical standard which makes sense where you live, might make less sense when other ethical beliefs are in operation.

As far as culture is concerned, you cannot say it is right or wrong. Sexual relationship outiside marriage is forbidden in almost every religion. In islamic countries like pakistan, people also have sexual relationship without marriage. This trend has increased becasue of influence of media especially bollywood and hollywood on the pakistani sciety. 

So what is wrong? Having sexual relationship and breaking the law in an islamic country or having sexual relationships when the law of the country allows it?
