" to learn" or " for learning"?
Can someone tell me what the difference between 2 below sentences:
1. I'm going to Seattle to learn English.
2. I'm going to Seattle for learning English.

1. I'm going to Seattle to learn English.
I am going to Seattle. I will learn English in Seattle. This is the reason why I am going.
2. I'm going to Seattle for learning English.
I am going to Seattle. I learnt English before going. I am going because I learnt English (a reward, maybe passing a test).
