Every day , I only can follow two partners in italki .
I wonder why so many people just write " I have skype " , but no skype ID presented .
The day before yesteday , i added a guy from USA via skype he wrote in his introduction .
Well , I think every one come here only have one goal ---- to get exchange language partners.
So , please open you contact to others .
It will help both of us .
A Chinese girl who is studying in America answers me that may be they do not want to be disturbed .

As per the rules of iTalki, it is prohibited to put your personal email, skype or any other contact details with the community. Once you become friends and start following, you can exchange such details via private messages.
Those who do share their skype etc. in their introductions or on messages in public discussions do so in violation of terms and conditions of iTalki that they accepted while signing in. If anyone flags/reports them, their profile can be removed. So, please be careful.
That is ture , people do not want to get spam .
They also want to keep private stuff apart from the peopel they do not know .
Well , for me , i just want to get easier to communicate with the people who want his language exchanged
I would be careful but not only for the possibility that italki removes your profile. The data is publicly visible on line to everyone. I would not want my skype name to be accessed by spammers or employers googling me for example. Lately one person even warned us that our facebook account is visible by default here. I dont put any private data on line.
I think that restricting new introductions to two per day keeps potentiall spammers away and is a good thing. After all, a genuine learner can build up a healthy list of contacts within 10-20 days.
