i think it's helpfull to promote company's products, but the problem is, what kind of material that you use to advertise ? if it's based on eco products ( using surya panels, lcd tv, etc) it won't rugged the world because it uses green energy, but if it's based on paper or cloths, it would rugged the world, because the material contains dangerous chemicals and sometimes it can't be reuse.
