I was wondering why is there no instant tutoring available in Japanese? At least when I go instant tutoring page, there is no Japanese option in the dropdown menu. However, if I go to individual teachers' pages, the button to request instant tutoring is always grayed out.
It is probably because of how many teachers are available at a time so they just do not provide the option for instant tutoring. I think if they had more Japanese teachers it would be available.
I think it is because of our culture. We don't really feel comfortable to get money when we help people. We love helping people without money I guess....

I've seen it available few times now but its super rare even at those strange times when most Japanese teachers are online and the number of students should be low.
