In China, QQ and Wechat are very popular. But mang foreigners doesnt use them. skype is very good to contact with foreigners. 

The only useful thing on FB is games. For everything else, there is skype (or the equivalent) or email.

Even if my friends and family have FB pages, I don't read them because they are boring, gossipy and full of promo spam.

I don't think China not having FB is a big loss, on the opposite.

Sorry, it's not suitable. 

@kiki Some contents in Facebook maybe be suitable for our government. 

Just use some VPN (Hola for example)
