IELTS formal letter: writing at the store for a new and non-functioning device (can't bring it back)
Dear Mr or Mrs,
my name is Diana King and I am a regular customer of your store; actually, one of the first costumers since your opening. I am writing to you regarding an annoying issue with the new HD television, bought at your store only one week ago.
At first, everything was working perfectly: I correctly installed the device at home following thoroughly the guidelines provided, and with the help of my nephew that is an electrician.
I watched a movie, then I let my children watch a few cartoons before turning it off in the afternoon.
When we turned the television on for dinner, there was a strange line across the screen, and, in addition to that, an odd background sound appeared. We tried different measures to solve the issue: first we controlled the settings, then we disconnected the tv and plugged it in another output, but nothing changed. We also looked up a solution online, with no results.
Unfortunately, I cannot go personally to the store to return the TV, and honestly, I am looking for an alternative solution: maybe you could send a technician over to my house? Another option could be to substitute my device with another of the same brand. Either ways, I really expect from you the highest attention to this problem, considering my level of loyalty and the esteem I have for your store
Yours faithfully
Miss Diana King
thank you so much in advance to any person that will help me!

I corrected this according to American English.
In American English we would use one of the four greetings I suggested, followed by a colon. The best choice is to use the person's name. If you don't know it, then use one of the other three greetings. "Dear Sir or Madam:" is sometimes used in the US, but most consider it to be outdated. I don't know if it is still commonly used in the UK.
"That" is used for objects; "who" or "whom" is used for people.
In the 3rd paragraph you would use either "and" or "in addition to," but not both because they are synonymous.
"TV" should be capitalized, or since this is a formal letter, you could also spell it out.
"Appear" refers to things you see, but not things you hear.
Colons are not used very often in writing. Here is a good article on the correct usage of colons: https://www.grammarbook.com/punctuation/semicolons.asp
If you have questions about any of my questions, please ask. Good luck on your IELTS test!
