Chinese New Year Holiday
Chinese New Year,we also call it "Spring Festival",it is our most major holiday. It is on 1st,Jan of Lunar Calendar, Chinese New Year in year 2012 is on 23th,Jan of Solar Calendar.
All units in China will be on holiday for it,except some special service units, but the workers will work in turn and shorten the work time than usual. The happiest thing is we can go home for family reunion, but the biggest headache is the terrible transport, buying one desired ticket is hard than climbing up to the sky.
This year, the railway department built a website for online ticket,we can buy the ticket online, although it still has many problems, but I think it is much better than go to train station or office in so cold weather and line up for many hours, even some people sleep there.
Luckily,my hometown is not far,so I can go back by autobus,it only costs me one and a half hours.
Another big change, from this year,we need show our ID card when buy a ticket, our ID card numbers will be printed on the tickets, according to the news report, this rule makes 95% Train Ticket Scalpers change jobs.
Wish all the systems become more and more perfect,"Spring Festival" will not be a happy but also terrible thing!
