Crave / Yearn
What's the difference between crave and yearn?
Crave is often used to describe a physical longing, often for food. Yearn is more tender and emotional, never about food.
Tengo muchas ganas de comer (crave) jamon de andalucia esta noche!
My daughter is pregnant and she craves ice cream.
I yearn ( or better to say: (long for) for the simpler days when I was young
