Italki update? No way!
I think italki webpage is very very slow. That's extremely annoying. I thought the maintenance team would improve the speed but what we can find is a more confusing renovated version of the site. In my opinion, the previous one was definitely more simple and functional than this one. What do you think about this?

I completely agree. I find it quite confusing now.
Don't forget that words of one syllable have the preferred comparative form 'er'.
simple => simpler
big => bigger
small = smaller
fancy = fancier
cosy => cosier
etc.

It's hard to tell, but it might be a tiny tiny bit faster now. But it was *so* slow before, the slowest website I know. I really don't mind the design as long as the pages load quickly. I agree with Chris, italki has a lot of potential and it is my favourite website for language learning, but sometimes it can be really annoying!

I preferred the previous layout but I do find italki to be a little faster now. I have contacted support on a number of occasions and they assure me it's a top priority item for them so I have hopes it will continue to get faster.
I think it is a real shame that the site is so slow, a lot more could be done with the site if it were faster.

Previous layout was user friendly. It was working fine in the morning but now it really sucks.
