Should We Discourage People to Use Cars? Becouse of the economical development, more and more people have the abilities to buy cars, which makes the traffic more crowded than ever before. Nowadays there are the most number of vehicles in China,however, it may be not a good news for this big country since traffic congestion becomes a very commen problem in almost every city of the nation.Based on this situation,some people suggest that we should encourage people to give up using cars,while others think we shouldn't discourage people use cars. And in my essay,I will tell the two opposite points, and make a conclusion. The people who always complain the traffic jam and the environmental issues may against the vehicle owners for the use thier cars too frequently and cause a series of problems such as the rush hour and the air pollution. More exactly, the basic transport system cannot burden so many vehicles, which makes the traffic significantly busy in the peak period. And the cars discharge too much off-gas that trigger a big problem that people cannot see the blue blue sky any more and have to straggle in the polluted air.We still remambered the foggy weather last winter, which was a result for the lesser-known awareness of pollution control. And they think it is a important step to discourage people to use cars. Others think the view is a little biased and they have several reasons. Firstly, our economy can really benefit from the vehicle industry, if we give to much limit to the vehicle users, we may be caught into a financial recession and have many potential impacts. Secondary, it is a personal right to buy or drive a car, and cars can bring us convenience in our lives for they help us save time and drive to anywhere we want. Thirdly, control the use of cars is not the only way to solute the traffic and pollution issues. We can boost the traffic facilities to decrease traffic congestion such as widen the main road and street, built more traffic bridges and so on.We can use clean energy instead of gas to be more eco-friendly. So we don't have to control the use of cars. Depend on all their ideas, I think they all have some right aspects. In my opinion, enhance the traffic system and use new energy to avoid polluting is the root solution for the traffic and environmental issues.But we still need a pretty long way to develop and achieve the goal, so before that, it is still necessary to encourage people try to avoid use private cars too frequently if possible.
