This text is written relatively well. So depending on amount of time and looks into the dictionary you made you can tell if you know English well or not. Improve by listening to as many songs with simple texts (for example Beatles) and repeat them after making sure you understand the meaning of every word. This will teach you many standard phrases and expand your vocabulary.
