Siesta
In Spain the "siesta " is a short period of time for sleeping for short time , around 20 minutes, after lunch . I need it every day . This tendency is normal in Latín América too. I was born in Argentina and I lived there until I was 12 . My mother bent made me have a to sleep the "siesta " . I think that in hot places countries people need a "siesta" because we have sun the sun doesn't set until 10 o'clock at night and it rises at 7 o'clock in the morning. the sun is gleaming . The summer is large here and its the days are very very long.
Well done Charo! I also think Spaniards need a siesta because they stay up so late at night!
