Opinion Poll about Countries and Books Today, I have come across a blog of a girl who is "reading around the world" (the blog is in Russian, so I can share a link with those who read Russian)))). She has chosen a list of 80 countries all over the world and one book for every country. The book can be written by a local writer or whoever and clearly depicts this country (customs, nature, people, history, etc.) and creates the atmosphere of the chosen country. So, my question is If you were to choose a book about your country, which book will it be? (Country + book title + writer's name, please)))) Everybody's welcome, even if your country have already been mentioned.
