Thanks for correcting my journal!!:))) 10/4 I looked for tutor on the Internet today and found 65 years old pretty man. I want to get TOEFL 45 points. 10/5 A typhoon is hitting Okinawa and another typhoon is getting close,too. 10/6 A typhoon had gone. My mom and I went to the book store. But there was not a book that I want to read. 10/7 A typhoon is hitting Okinawa again. I got a call from a manager and was told that he's going to open the store on Thursday.

The typhoon was gone. (You use "was" to tell the reader that it is over.)
My mom and I went to the book store.
But the book that I wanted to read is not there.
