The Siberian Charysh River The Charysh is a river in south-western Siberia in Russia, flowing into the left bank of the Ob river. The Charysh flows through the territory of the Altai Republic and Altai Krai. The Charysh river flows down from the northern slopes of the Korgon ridge. In the upper reaches it rushes between the steep slopes as a typical mountain river, in the middle reaches it somewhat calms down, in the lower reaches it goes on the plain. The Charysh river and its tributaries are known among fans of alloys. It used for irrigation. The Charysh is my favorite river, because I grew up on its banks. Here is a picture that was taken in the steppe foothills of Altai.

* I'm not sure what you mean by "fans of alloys." An alloy is usually meant to be a combination of different metals (e.g., steel is an iron alloy).
