A typical Sunday Italian lunch It's not Sunday in Italy without the typical dish of "pasta asciutta" or "pastasciutta". The "pasta asciutta" is a dish where the pasta is cooked without broth and there is not a soap. Today I ate a very tasty pasta asciutta, more precisely I ate a typical plate of Bologna city: the "Tagliatelle al ragù". The ragù is an Italian souce mainly made with butter, oil, a chopped of celery, carrots, onions, meat chopped too, tomato souce, salt, pepper and red wine. Both the tagliatelle and the ragù were homemade, the my housband's mother is a wonderful cook! :D I wonted to share whit you this good plate so I have photographed it. Buon appetito to all! ^___^

Both the tagliatelle and the ragù were homemade, the my husband's mother is a wonderful cook! :D

I wanted to share with you this good dish so I have photographed (taken a photo of) it.

A typical Sunday Italian lunch

It's not Sunday in Italy without the typical dish of "pasta asciutta" or "pastasciutta". The "pasta asciutta" is a dish where the pasta is cooked without broth and there is not a soap. >>Sapone? Lava con "soap". Zuppa? Mangi "soup".       "...without broth and it is not a soup."

Today I ate a very tasty pasta asciutta, more precisely I ate a typical plate of from Bologna city: the "Tagliatelle al ragù". The ragù is an Italian sauce mainly made with butter, oil, a chopped of celery, carrots, onions, meat chopped too, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and red wine.

Both the tagliatelle and the ragù were homemade.  My housband's mother is a wonderful cook! :D

I wanted to share with you this good plate so I have photographed it.

Buon appetito to all! ^___^

It sounds delicious!  It sounds similar to how I cook Osso Buco.
