You'll learn later that the "わ" is written as "は."

は is called a particle.  は denotes a subject, but there are a lot of other particles.  In your sentence, your name is the subject, so は comes after わたしのなまえ.

Then you'll learn Katakana so you can write your name in Katakana. :D
