You don't have to but if you put "더 많이" in the beginning of all the senceses below (except one), it sounds a bit better.
- 더 많이 애쓸수록 더 잘 될거야. (The more you try the more you will be successful.)
- 더 많이알수록 더 좋아요. (The more you know, the better.)
- 더 많이 아플수록/앓을수록 더 피곤해요 (The more you are sick, the more tired you will be.)
- 더 오래 앉아 있을수록 더 나태해질거에요. (The more you sit, the more you will become lazy.)
In this case, you could still say 더 많이 but "더 오래"= "the longer" sounds better in Korean.
-안될수록 더 애써야 되요. (The more you are unsuccessful, the more you have to try.)
Your senctence is perfectly fine but adding "더" sounds more natural.
