IELTS TASK 1: Chart 35. BOOK. Please let me know what my mistakes are. Thank you This chart compares the amount of money spent on books in four different countries, Germany, France, Italy, and Austria from 1995 to 2005. In 1995, the biggest spender on books was Germany with 80 million dollars while the smallest one among four countries was Austria with 30 million dollars spending on books. Two other countries had approximately the similar amount of spending on books in that year. As can be seen, the three countries Germany, France, and Austria showed a similar pattern in the rise in spending on books from 1995 to 1999 by approximately 10 million dollars, whereas Italy peaked at 55 million in 1997 and then dropped by 50 million dollars in 1999. After leveling off to 2001, the amount of money spent on books in Austria rose sharply reaching the greatest amount of that in 2005 with almost 71 million, while there was a gradually increase for Italy from 1999 to 2005 by 11 million dollars. Reaching almost 74 million spending on books in 2005, the France had an upward trend since 1999. Although Germany experienced a slight decrease in spending on books, it was the best spender on books over the period reaching to 95 million dollars in 2005.
