Is it the past continous? I was watching TV yesterday when the phone rang. She came into my room when I was reading a magazine. At 8.00 p.m. yesterday I was cooking the dinner.

Is it the past continous?

I was watching TV yesterday when the phone rang.
She came into my room when I was reading a magazine.
At 8.00 p.m. yesterday I was cooking the dinner.

 

Yes, all the sentences are in pasr continuous. The only thing: I wouldn't use THE before dinner
