I felt this sentence ran on a little too long and there should be a pause somewhere to catch your breath. Otherwise it looks great.

Hehe it sure is. I heard US government heavily marketed milk to meet the nutritional needs of troops who were dispatched overseas during world war II by including milk in school lunches and send the message that milk is the perfect food, which is totally not true.
