Entry #8: A new member.
Last week, my uncle bought a bird for my mom. It was a parakeet. I don't like to have pets <em>in cages</em>, I <em>don't like seeing them like that</em> because I think <em>that</em> they could have a better environment, out of a cage. I made a nice area <em>(for the bird)</em> without <em>the cage, which</em> seems like a jail. I <em>was thinking about</em> a good name <em>for</em> her, and I liked Lori. At first, I didn't want that parakeet because I like big <em>animals</em> (like a <em>cats</em> or a <em>dogs</em>) because I can hug them. But now I really <em>like having</em> Lori, I like to teach her tricks and <em>other</em> things. My cat thinks <em>that</em> Lori is <em>a</em> chicken, we have to stop him <em>whenever</em> he is <em>too close to</em> the bird. He is starting to learn that Lori is a new member <em>(of the family).</em>

I don't like to have put pets into a bird cage, I can't see look at them, because I think they could have a better environment, out of a cage. I made a nice area without it seemings like a jail. I looked for a good name to for her, and I liked Lori. At first I didn't want that parakeet, because I prefer [like] big pets, like a cat or a dog, because I can hug them. But now I really want Lori. I like to teach her tricks and more things. My cat thinks Lori is a chicken, we have to stop him when he is so near of very close/near to the bird. He is starting to learn that Lori is a new member of the family.
