Advantages and disadvantages of living in a large city In recent times, it becomes more popular among people to immigrate to urban areas. This is a big opportunity, especially for young to improve the quality of their life. But how is it possible? What problems would they face to? In this essay I will discuss some advantages and disadvantages of this matter and finally I will try to draw a conclusion. Let's start by looking at pros of living in a city. For many, it's important to be involved in latest technologies which is just accessible in large cities. New technologies such as high speed Internet or some means of transportation like subways, help people do their activities easily and in least amount of time. In addition, for many youth it's more possible to find a job with high salary and above this, a job related to their career, while, in small villages this vocation is difficult to be found. Children fallow their parent's occupation, generally. Turning to the other side of the argument, there are some negative points too. Citizens of a big city have to pay more taxes than those in small ones, as they use large amount of facilities, goes without saying. I mean, this is crystal clear that the cost of producing and conserving welfare facilities is higher. Another big disadvantage is heavy traffics on streets and sometimes on highways, which will cause extreme stressful life. In spite of large quantity of utility vehicles in majority of cities, people use their personal cars yet. Even if we ignore the heavy traffic problem, pollution is what we cannot eliminate it. To conclude, everything has double folds. Living in a city might be a desirable circumstance for everybody, however, it causes some problems for them which is necessary to be considered. From my point of view living in peaceful village with calm and clean nature, is the thing that must be our wish because all people has been looking for tranquility.

Advantages and disadvantages of living in a large city

What problems would they face to? In this essay I will discuss some advantages and disadvantages of this matter and finally I will try to draw a conclusion.
Let's start by looking at the pros of living in a city. For many, it's important to be involved in the latest technologies which are only accessible in large cities. New technologies, such as high speed Internet or some means of transportation like subways, help people do their activities easily and in least amount of time. Another big disadvantage is the heavy traffics on streets and sometimes on highways, which will cause an extremely stressful life. To conclude, everything has tradeoffs. Living in a city might be a desirable circumstance for everybody, but it causes some problems for them which are necessary to consider. From my point of view, we should wish to live in a peaceful village with calm and clean nature,  because all people have been looking for tranquility.

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. But about the conclusion, I wrote this essay to improve my IELTS writing skill. I want to say actually living in village isn't my priority as well. I have to write something but I don't know is it important to write conclusion beyond real thoughts or not?

Personally, i wouldn't use the word "immigrate" in this context. It is usually used to refer to people moving into the country from another country. I would use the simpler word "move", or "migrate". Possibly, even use the phrase "are attracted to" which can show that this is something the people want t do. With your good level of English, may I suggest you replace the word "try" with "attempt"? Finally, I would like to disagree with your conclusion which seems to assume that everybody will experience the problems you describe. But, I live on the edge of a city and don't have these problems. For our family, living in a village would be worse and living in a small town is a really good compromise. Maybe we can discuss in the comments?
