A fun beggar

My name is Percy Buttons, a beggar, but a fun beggar. I live in Bridge Street. Though I have no money and no job, I can stand on my head, and I have received many meals and beers through it. Everyone knows me. I call at everyone's house in the street once a month and always ask for a meal and a glass of beer. In return for this, I'll stand on my head and sing songs. Recently, a new family moved here. I visited them once, sang a song, and asked for a meal and a glass of beer. <font style="background-color: rgb(206, 198, 206);">(I changed the order here, because it makes more sense to ask for the beer and meal after singing the song).</font> The hostess was a generous lady and very beautiful. After I had finished, she gave me a piece of cheese and a lovely smile (<font style="background-color: rgb(206, 198, 206);">It doesn't really make sense that she gave you a piece of cheese after you left</font>).
