THE CUSTOMS OF THE DRAGON BOAT RACES W e have some customs during the Dragon Boat Festival. First, people will eat rice dumplings. Second, we will have dragon boat races.Third, people will hang up the pictures of ZhongKui to prevent the evil sprits. What's more, audlts will drink Xiong Huang wine and children will wear perfumed medcine bags . All they do these is to prevent the evil spirit.

We have some customs during the Dragon Boat Festival. First, people will eat rice dumplings. (Better is "to ward off evil spirits" "prevent" I think is more like 避免and "ward" is 辟邪，招架? I don't know) What's more, adults will drink Xiong Huang wine and children will wear perfumed medicine bags . All this they do these is to prevent the evil spirit. ("to ward off evil spirits" "to prevent" often has an action associated with it when there is an human/animal object. so "To prevent the dog from going outside, I shut the door." "This car has airbags to prevent injuries." Also, throughout, you use "will". This is a little inappropriate for describing a festival because it is something that is ongoing and has happened before. "I will go to college, and I will graduate" versus "Every year, we celebrate Halloween. On Halloween, children go door to door and ask for treats while in costumes." Perhaps that's not the best example. But so just "First/One custom is that people eat rice dumplings.")
