My first entry Yes, this is my first notebook entry in italki. I have been correcting entries of Spanish learners until now. It is not always easy because many times you do not know what they want to say or express exactly. Some times their sentences are grammatically correct but do not reflect their ideas. Moreover, in Spain we use different words than in Latin America and other expressions as well.

My first entry

Yes, this is my first notebook entry in on Italki. I have been correcting the entries of Spanish learners until now.

It is not always easy because many times you do (<--Avoid writing in the generic/impersonal "you.") I did (<--Use past tense here because you're writing about corrections you've done up until this entry.) not know exactly what they wanted to say or express exactly. Sometimes, their sentences are were grammatically correct but do did not reflect their ideas. Moreover, in Spain, we use different words and expressions than in Latin America and other expressions as well.

Yes, this is my first notebook entry in italki. Up until now, I have (I've) only been correcting (the) entries of Spanish learners until now.
It is (It's) not always easy because many times a lot of the time you do not (don't) know exactly what they want to say or express exactly. Some times Sometimes their sentences are grammatically correct but do not (don't) reflect their ideas. Moreover, On top of this, in Spain we use different words than in to Latin America and as well as other different expressions as well. (the repetition of different is ok here, it creates emphasis)

* blue is for suggestions. Contractions work well in this informal context.

** Moreover is very rarely used, especially in colloquial English - 'On top of this' is a good, colloquial alternative. Some more formal alternatives would be

"In addition.."

"In addition to this.."

"Additionally.."

"Furthermore.." (very formal)
