English connectors
I have just decided to take English lesssons up, because my level is getting worse. Yesterday I revised my notes about connectors or linking words. Basically, it is no a problem for me, but when I read some examples in some blogs, it becomes confused. The solution I find to clarify the nuances is to write a type classification: contrast, adding, cause, etc. The best examples you can find are in the official press, such as The Guardian, which has a wonderful writing style and you may learn how to organise your writing with a good coherence.
Sometimes, the author blogs about English language are not so meticulous as we can expect and produce more confusion than helping learner to understand basic concepts.
How do you study English? Do you read blogs about English language? Let me know your opinion and share it!
