Could you please correct my mistakes? Informal letter (CAE) Hi Tom, It's great to finally hear from you! I'm very impressed that despite all the time and efforts your studies require you decided to take up a halftime job. Well, it's natural to be nervous before a job interview especially since this will be your first one. I remember when I was applying for a tour agent position for the first time, I was so anxious that I even went week at the knees while waiting to be called in by recruiting managers. Nevertheless, I was smart enough read up on every tourism destination I found on their site in order to show them how well-informed and erudite I was. Naturally, I looked up some information about their company as well, and this has really stood me in good stead, as I knew perfectly how to answer the questions about my reasons for applying for a job in their firm in particular. So, based on my personal experience I advice you to do some background reading on the firm and the way they work, it will make it clear that you're very interested in the position. And another tip: try to be as confident as you can in spite of all you anxiety, employers like it when a person is certain that all they say and do is right. So, the best of luck to you! I'm sure that with all your talents and self-discipline you'll get through the interview with flying colours! Best wishes, Ann

Hi Tom,

It's great to finally hear from you! I'm very impressed that, despite all the time and efforts your studies require, you've decided to take up a part-time job.

Well,  It's natural to be nervous before a job interview, especially since this will be your first one. I remember when I was applying for a tour agent position for the first time, I was so anxious that I even went weak at the knees while waiting to be called in by the recruiting managers.

So, based on my personal experience, I advise you to do some background reading on the firm and the way they work, it will make it clear that you're very interested in the position. And Another tip: try to be as confident as you can in spite of all your anxiety, employers like it when a person is certain that all they say and do is right.

So, the best of luck to you! I'm sure that with all your talents and self-discipline you'll get through the interview with flying colours!

Best wishes,

Ann
