练习汉语介词的任务 第八个 ：给

“给”可作动词、介词、助词。

1.“给”作动词，意思是使对方得到。可带"了、过" (means give sth. to sb./give sb. sth.)

作文中以下句子是动词的用法：

为了向他的妻子道歉，李先生给她一枝美丽的红色玫瑰。（量词“枝”用在带枝的植物和花朵，量词“棵”用在植物的数量，更多是种植在泥土里的植物，例如“一棵树”“几棵树苗”）

除了一个顽皮的男孩以外，张老师给他的学生们一些甜食。

我小的时候，每次去探望我的奶奶，她都给我五块英镑。（visit some place=参观，visit sb.=探望，看望，拜访）

2.“给”做介词。

为了叫醒她，陈小姐请接待员明天早上七点给她打电话。（this sentence is correct.）

圣诞的时候，很多人给别人买礼物。

(时间means which year/date/time/hour... example：考试的时间是下午三点。

时候means  the period, for example:考试的时候我想喝水。）

不巧的是，圣诞的时候，很多父母买不起礼物给他们的孩子们。

(If it's positive sentence, can write: 很多父母给他们的孩子买礼物。but negative sentence should be 买不起礼物给孩子们。）
