There are some online classes for learning English. A friend told me that one of them helps me and I started going through that.
In this case, I want to say to a person who I met in the class that my friend recommended this class to me, it pretty much helps.
Does ”recommend” make sense?
How about ”introduce”?
Can you please help me?
Thank you so much.

As Liliane already pointed out, recommend is the word you want in this context. I would say introduce if I were referring to, for instance, a band or an actor, meaning someone's body of work.
Ex: My friend introduced me to ______'s new album and I have been listening to it on Spotify nonstop for the last week.
