I haven't seen movies of last year, but one of my favorite films is "Portrait of a Lady on Fire" (2019). It is absolutely amazing! This master piece was directed by Céline Sciamma and starred Noémie Merlant and Adèle Haenel. It is about a painter, Marianne, who has to paint a portrait of a beautiful lady, Héloïse. However, this is a very complex mission, because Marianne has to paint a marriage portrait, but Héloïse don't want to get married, so she must not know that she is being painted. As a result, Marianne has to pretend she is just a walking companion and try to memorize every detail of Héloïse face and expressions in order to paint her. This film is also a wonderful retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. In these illustrations you can see the clothes similarities between the painting "Orpheus and Eurydice" (1862) by Edward Poynter and the film:
