My teacher sent me messages about alterations that I didn't see in time. By comparison, on Preply one always gets notifications on one's mail, automatically. Something to do with settings somewhere..?Anyone?

Yes. It is possible that you need to change some settings.

Open italki from a desktop computer. Go to settings. Then click on the notifications tab and go to the section called Email notifications. Check all the items you want to receive email notifications for.

If you also have the italki app on your mobile phone, it is also useful to go to your phone's notifications options and allow italki.
