The New HSK 3.0 classifies student's Chinese proficiency more precisely because it includes has 3 stages and 9 levels. It uses 4 basic mandarin language elements (characters, grammar, syllabus, and vocabulary) as well as verbal communication abilities and situational workout to form its evolution dimensions that determine student’s Chinese proficiency perfectly.
The New HSK 3.0 will align with other global guidelines, such as ACTFL and CEFR.
It completely reflects the elements needed for language competency. Besides reading, writing, and listening, abilities such as handwriting mandarin characters, speaking, and translation will also be tested.
The newly added advanced level in the New HSK 3.0, from band seven to nine is made for students who major in mandarin language and literature or sinologists. If you wish to study for a master’s degree in Chinese, or only want to challenge yourself, this New HSK 3.0 system is for you.
HSK test is a roadmap for learning mandarin
Expect when how you calculate does matter. For many students HSK features as a roadmap, and if the HSK test changes, so will the road map.
For instance, if something is needed on the HSK test, some people will think that it is more vital than if it is not. Words that are on the HSK test will look more relevant than words that are not. With that bear in mind, let’s look at some vital changes, but again, keeping in mind that we do not know properly if or how these changes will be applied in actual exams.
