Both are good, but I would use them in different situations.
Use "change" for significant changes, such as to a different company or a different type of work.
Use "switch" for less significant changes within the same company, or changes between similar jobs in different departments.
Agree with Nichole: you shouldn't say "switch a job" or "change a job".

Not so much though it can be taken differently in my opinion?
You should switch jobs
To me sounds like you are asking someone to switch jobs with you. For ex: hey instead of me washing dishes today how about we switch? You do dishes and I’ll take out the trash.
I’m ready to change jobs
To me sounds like maybe you aren’t satisfied at your current job and you are ready to make a change. For ex: man I hate being a cashier…maybe I should change it up…get into the security business.
That’s just my take :)

Both make sense but it’s way more common to use “switch”. Also, you’d say “switch jobs” instead of “switch a job”.
If you use “change” (not as common) you’d say “change jobs”.
