Hey. Just a head's up. Language partners seem to me to be a false friend. Isn't it just a backward step: a stop gap before realization kicks in that you do actually need a professional native tutor in order to make any progress?
It seems to me to be a fairly well worn path that holds up so many students' progress. So much so that they wander around in circles wasting time in an ethereal persuit of ineffective camaraderie. A false economy based on hope. There just isn't a short cut.
I'd love to hear from anyone who finds any objective value in language partners.
It's not unusual to think like this, these days, but I'm just saying it as I find it... maybe I will help you to the realisation sooner rather than later that some things are worth paying for.
