Still Night’s Muse
Li Bai
Afront the bed the Lina beams bright,
Wearing a look of seemingly rime white.
Eyes upcast toward the Luna,
Eyes downcast, engenders my nostalgia.
— Here is my interpretation of this beautiful poem:
A muse is a personified force who is the source of inspiration.
The moon has an immense power of attraction over the earth and all the creatures that inhabit it. Its amazing, wonderful light can illuminate your thoughts and emotions —no matter how deep they are placed inside you, no matter how forgotten— helping you to engender these feelings.

There are no corrections. It is perfect. It is interesting that you relate the moon to the muse. How familiar are you with the muses and Hellenistic religion? My family is from Puglia and the ancient Thracian religion and Hellenism both emphasized the muses so they are often spoken about down there.
