foreigners , especially Europeans and Americans, don't know how to eat sunflower's seeds. true?

:)) In Britain, we don't really eat them as a snack. We feed them to hamsters. However, we do also put them in bread. In many other countries in Europe, they are a popular snack. If you go into a lot of bars in Spain, for example, you will see the floor of the bar is covered with sunflower seed shells. Here in Bulgaria, where I live, they are also really popular.

It is hogwash. Like Claire wrote they are often all over the floor. I doubt we can grow them in Canada.

You can buy them all over Australia, some people like to eat them, some don't. Many people grow huge sunflowers in their gardens, harvest and dry the seeds and eat them.
