Do you know where did the phrase "out of box thinking" originate from?
Can you please share some of your own experiences of "out of box thinking". I will appreciate practical examples from real life.
Do we have any similar phrases in other languages that describe exactly the same phenomena, I don't think so about Urdu and PunjabI, Thanks.

out-of-the-box thinking means thinking that moves away in diverging directions so as to involve a variety of aspects and which sometimes lead to novel ideas and solutions; associated with creativity.
Another phrase is "think outside the box/square"

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thinking_outside_the_box . It is related to a puzzle called the "nine dots puzzle".
