It's used on a wide range with different meanings but mainly as things related to a person or group of people
Examples :
1) I have to pack my stuff before I go ( It means things)
2) Don't touch my stuff again ( same meaning )
3)Teenstuff ( Teens' talk , problems or even way of thinking )
Hope I helped ^^

stuff can refer to ANYTHING...
"clean the stuff off the table. i have stuff to do, i cant go out today. that store has cool stuff." here, stuff means [things] as activities, errands or objects, or ideas. "my nose is stuffy." (sniffly) as in swollen due to having the flu etc.
"the room was stuffy. the air is stuffy, open the window!" here, [stuffy] means the air is bad, musty, or stagnant. imagine if a house hasnt been lived in a while, or no one opens thier window.
"my head is stuffy. " here, stuffy means sick, not common.
"stuffing" can mean a type of bready-food often put in turkey and cooked, or the action of putting something somewhere without organization as in "she was stuffing the garbage until it overflowed." or without delicacy, (messy) "she stuffed her face with food like an animal"

"Stuff" is also colloquial. You'd use this in common speech, but if you had to talk or write formally, you'd need to use "items" or "things".
Funnily, this is one of the few French-based words in English which is not considered formal.

As a noun, people use the word "stuff" frequently in common speech to refer to miscellaneous things that they would rather not take the trouble to specify in detail. If children have made a mess, for example, then I might admonish them, "Do something with all your stuff!"
