Sudying is the act and work of trying to comprehend as much as you can about a subjec or a problem.
Learning is reaching comprehension. It can be achieved either by studying or in other ways, such as experience.

这两个字的意思几乎是相同的但用法有差别。
Study = 学习 (过程)
Learn = 学会 (结果)
比如:
If you want to learn a language, you have to study every day.
What subjects are you studying this semester?
Where did you learn to speak English?

I try to answer... I think that the difference is that you can study English for 14 years without learn it! Different meaning between study and learn! You can study without assimilate but if you learn you know!
