What does "Ginger" means?
When a boy who want to donate his blood but his parents interjected, said" sorry, they don't accept blood from gingers."
I heard it from FML but i still cant get the meaning of " gingers".....
Gingers mean someone cant donate blood? But why?

It means people with red hair - it is a phrase particular to the UK - and it is mildly insulting. It goes without saying that their blood is the same as everyone else's.

Ginger = ginger-haired = red-haired. It's a kind of prejudice that red-haired folk are often teased or discriminated against, based on the colour of their hair.

Hi, I didnt know that ginger means a different way in Uk and In Australia, I listened to the music of tim michin as suggested by Peachey, and I did understand the meaning of it and yes it connotes negative remarks to red heads, I enjoyed the music too. Thanks Peachey for the link

ginger means someone with red hair LOL I don't know what that means too but someone said that and I think it might help you with this topic.
