Important meetings almost always have a note taker. These notes are called "minutes." Minutes are often read at the next meeting to remind everyone- and inform those who were gone. Minutes are given to people who should have been at a meeting and were missing.
If you are just saying to someone what happened in a meeting without these notes, that is not minutes. You are free to say whatever you want- like what you said, or- "That's what we talked about."
