i chatted with a friend i said" do foreign teachers have more work than local ones "
he: i think in my school we have the same workload
me: thats not good for u
cuz normally foreign teachers have less work

me: huh?
he: so you say
i still dont get it what he means?

So you say = I don't believe what you say/ I don't agree with what you say. You may say that, but I don't.
"So YOU say" is usually the inflection
