why we say Guinea pig as the experiment subject? why we say Guinea pig as the experiment subject? Does this saying have some negative meaning?

Usually experiments are carried out on guinea pigs - i.e for medical research, cosmetic research. So if you hear the expression 'you are a guinea pig' it can mean that you are being used as a trial for an idea.
