anata wa pari ni sunde imasu ka? あなたはパリに住んでいますか?(formal)
use "no" ⇒ anata wa pari ni sunde imru no? あなたはパリに住んでいるの?
But it is the same meaning even if there is not "no".
⇒ anata wa pari ni sunde imru? あなたはパリに住んでいる?
When formal
use "no" ⇒ anata wa pari ni sunde imru no desuka? あなたはパリに住んでいるのですか?
anata wa chikatetsu ni norimasu ka? あなたは地下鉄に乗りますか?(formal)
use "no" ⇒anata wa chikatetsu ni noru no? あなたは地下鉄に乗るの?
But it is the same meaning even if there is not "no".
⇒anata wa chikatetsu ni noru? あなたは地下鉄に乗る?
When formal
use "no" ⇒anata wa chikatetsu ni noru no desuka? あなたは地下鉄に乗るのですか?
Does my answer match your question?

Hi Romainthe,
anata wa pari ni sunde imasu ka?
hai, watashi wa pari ni sunde imasu ka
Do you live in paris? yes, i live in paris
Yes the sentences are correct, but you don't need to put "ka" in the end of the second sentence.
"ka" only follows after a questioning sentence.
anata wa chikatetsu norimasu ka?
hai, watashi wa chikatetsu norimasu
do you take the subway?
Yes , i take the subway.
The sentence is basically correct. But I would like to add a few words to the sentence.
First of all, add "ni" between chikatetsu and norimasuka.
Anatawa chikatetsu norimasuka
-> Anatawa chikatetsu ni norimasuka
Next, Japanese people tend to say that sentence with the location to where you are going.
For instance,
Anatawa gakkou ni ikutoki chikatetsu ni norimasu ka?
Kaisha ni ikutoki = [when you go to school]
This sounds more like a sentence written by a Japanese person.
Anyway, I think the sentences are mostly correct.
